OPEN CALL – Fall 2024

For writers and curators

We welcome submissions for written material from writers and curators on a rolling basis for potential collaboration. 

We’re especially interested in:

• conversation pieces with artists and cultural workers.
• writing on contemporary art
• dispatches

While we are excited to receive submissions from a wide variety of practices, we ask that you please first familiarize with the mission and scope of MPAC to establish why and how your submission fits with us.

Please keep in mind that we do not review submissions that do not adhere to our submissions guidelines and cannot accept multiple email submissions with multiple attachments or zip folders.

How to Apply

Please upload your proposal as one pdf file using our online application form.

Your pdf should include the following and must not exceed 10 MB:

• Name and contact information
• proposed work, or an abstract of proposed work
• writing samples or links to links to published work when possible
• no more than 3 images (if writing about artwork)
